FAQs
What are the age requirements?
Must be 25 to rent and 21 to drive. By Texas law, anyone born on or after September 1st 1993 must have completed a boater’s safety course.
How many people can ride?
A maximum of 3 riders per jet ski- not exceeding 496 lbs. Please note: It is difficult to ride with more than 2 people at one time. The jet skis are more likely to flip with more than 2 adults on board as it is difficult to maintain balance. Please consider this when making reservations and plan for no more than 2 riders per ski.
What payment types do you accept?
We accept cash, Venmo, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB. If you pay with cash or Venmo, we will still need a major credit card for the damage deposit.
How much is the damage deposit?
There is a $300 damage deposit per ski. Once the units are returned free of any damage, the damage deposit hold will be dropped.
What is included with the rental?
Each rental includes the watercraft, a full tank of gas and 3 adult life jackets per ski. All jet skis come equipped with a fire extinguisher, a tow rope, 2 docking ropes, a whistle, a waterproof phone case, registration cards, and sunscreen. Depending on availability, a tube can be added for an additional cost of $50.
What if I add extra gas? Will I be reimbursed?
There is NO reimbursement if the renter decides to refuel. No credit will be given for any unused gas at the time of return.
What kind of gas do I use if I want to refuel?
The Yamaha EX Deluxe takes regular unleaded gas.
What if the unit stops working?
Our units are brand new so we don’t foresee this being an issue, however, in the event that the unit won’t start, flag someone down and have them tow you to the nearest marina. A tow rope is provided and make sure you are always towed from the front. Contact us immediately regarding any issues with the unit.
Where do I pick up the jet ski?
We deliver to you. If you’re renting a house on the lake, most neighborhoods have a community boat ramp. We often need a gate key or a code from the homeowner for access to the ramp. If this is not an option, we meet at the closest public boat ramp. This will be determined during booking. If you are not staying at a house on the lake, we meet at Tom Finley Park on the bridge that connects Seven Points to Gun Barrel City. They charge a $3 launch fee and have plenty of room for parking.
So how does all this work?
We meet you at the agreed upon location. There will be a brief introduction/orientation of the units and our policies. Waivers will be signed, you will be fitted for life jackets and rental costs will be collected in full. We launch you into the lake from the boat ramp and that is where we will pick you up at the agreed upon time. The units will be inspected by staff to ensure there is no damage and that all accessories are returned. (life jackets, wristbands, tubes, etc.) If there is no damage to the units or accessories, your damage deposit hold will be dropped in full on the same day. We will contact you to let you know the charge has been cancelled.
